Confrontation brings a new focus to the game, as it groups similar vehicles together. Tanks from one nation are set up against a “comparable” team from a different nation… and hijinks are sure to follow.
Mike Zhivets, lead producer on World of Tanks explains that this new mode is a direct response to fan requests:
We have always valued World of Tanks community’s feedback above all else. The combat mode with national teams has been a popular request from our players for quite some time, and we are excited that they will soon be able to try it out.
There’s also sme arena tweaks headed your way: A winter version of Himmelsdorf, a version of Ruinberg with fires and falling rain, and a new one – Windstorm – set in a European landscape.
The 8.11 update for World of Tanks is due out “soon”
