Ladies, gentlemen, Australians: Brace yourselves, as South Park: The Stick of Truth has officially made it through the Classification Board’s scrutiny. No prizes for guessing just how “adult” this one is – there’s a big, fat R18+ on the label.
If you believed this was the sort of game Australians would never have seen in previous years, you’d be right – its adults-only rating is thanks to “High impact crude humour, sex scenes and references to sexual violence”.
There’s also strong impact language and nudity, but – in case you were concerned – no drug use as such.
The Australian Board report ties in neatly with the American ESRB findings: “Blood and gore, drug references, mature humour, nudity, strong language, strong sexual content, and violence.”
