The years have not dulled Infinity Blade’s gleam, as Donald Mustard, creative director of Chair explains:

With millions of players worldwide, the original Infinity Blade remains one of the most popular games ever launched on the App Store. We’re excited for this opportunity to invite even more gamers to try Infinity Blade and test their skills.

Infinity Blade was the world’s first iOS game created using Unreal Engine 3, and was released to great acclaim three years ago (more than 274,000 copies in its first week on sale!). Apple heralded the medieval combat game as a sign of things to come, an illustration of how beautiful and graphically impressive mobile games could be – and developer Chair backed things up by releasing two sequels in the three years since.

You can get in on the action if you haven’t already, by heading to the iTunes App Store and snagging a copy of Infinity Blade right now!
