Video game adaptation movies, do we really need any more? Apparently the answer is an emphatic yes! Proving that every dog really will have it’s day, the Kane and Lynch movie is apparently back on the cards.
Once slated to star Mr ‘Die Hard’ himself Bruce Willis as well as Jamie Foxx, the movie fizzled out, and everyone assumed it died a quiet, dignified death on the cutting room floor.
Alas, The Hollywood Reporter is now claiming that it’s back on, with F. Gary Grey is on board as the director, who we can credit with 1998’s The Negotiator (I don’t care what anyone says, Spacey hit the mad notes in that flick!) and Gerard Butler of the ab-tastic 300 is on the cards as Kane. Lynch is currently uncast, but if all goes to plan the movie will contain 100% more Riddick with Vin Diesel in the role — and that’s a bonus in my books!
Will the movie happen this time? Does anybody care? We’ll keep you posted regardless!
