Steam Weekly Top Sellers: November 3rd, 2013

Logo-Steam Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.

We’ve heard some great things – and some less-than-great things – about Batman: Arkham Origins, but it seems fans are still picking this one up in droves. And why not? It’s a prequel story – everybody loves those, right?

…if you’d prefer something a bit more “unusual” (by which we also mean “awesome”), The Stanley Parable is still doing rather well for itself at #2, as is How to Survive at #6, and Space Engineers is one of the more unique ideas we’ve seen in a while.

#1 – Batman: Arkham Origins

Batman: Arkham Origins is the next installment in the blockbuster Batman: Arkham videogame franchise. Developed by WB Games Montréal, the game features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline set several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, the first two critically acclaimed games of the franchise. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals, the game showcases a young and unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight.
