Kick out the Jams in Rocksmith Session Mode

Rocksmith 2014 squishes an entire band into your console. And this isn’t your standard, note-perfect, metronome-synchronised robot band, either. The group that will accompany you in Session Mode is clever enough to adapt to the notes and style you’re playing, meaning you can riff and jam along to your heart’s content.

It’s also not a static, pre-packaged musical group. With more than 70 different instruments at your fingertips, you can create the perfect band lineup to suit your tastes.

Tony Key, Senior vice president of Sales and Marketing for Ubisoft North America explains:

Session Mode is a technological breakthrough when it comes to music software, and we are proud to be including this mode in the all-new Rocksmith 2014 Edition. It’s the closest experience you can have to actually jamming with a real band and is a better alternative than playing with static backing tracks or a metronome.

Session Mode is also available in multiplayer, so your mate can jam out alongside you, creating beautiful harmonies and classic tracks – something Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains values highly.

(The) new session mode feature is one of the most innovative music technologies in recent history and gives you the experience of playing with a real band that actually adapts to you!

Rocksmith 2014 is due out on Mac, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 from October 18th around the world – and no, Australians will not have to wait a full year for this one.
