If you can’t get to Anaheim in November for BlizzCon 2013, there may be another way to get your fix of all things Blizzard. The official Virtual Ticket for the event has just gone on sale – and for US$39.99, you can watch all the action unfold, from the comfort of your own home.
This year, BlizzCon takes place November 8 and 9, in the Anaheim Convention Center in California. It’s a celebration of Blizzard Entertainment, covering Warcraft (including both World of Warcraft and Hearthstone), StarCraft and Diablo. It’s two days packed full of panels and interviews, pro-gaming competitions, guild meetups, parties and general good times.
The Virtual Ticket will give you access to all of that – comprehensive live HD coverage of the event, via a multichannel stream. Simply flick between the parts you are most interested in!
- Developer Panels: Get the latest news and firsthand developer insight into the creation of your favorite Blizzard games.
- Exclusive Interviews: Dig deeper into the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo universes in exclusive interviews with Blizzard executives and developers.
- Costume and Talent Contests: Get a great view of the creativity on display in the legendary BlizzCon Costume contest and the brand-new-for-2013 Talent Contest.
- Closing Ceremony: Be there for the closing festivities on Saturday night, celebrating two full days of Blizzard gaming and eSports action.
As another option, there will be limited high-definition coverage of the opening ceremony and select eSports tournaments, including the Grand Finals of both the 2013 StarCraft II World Championship Series and the World of Warcraft Arena Global Invitational.
But the Virtual Ticket is where it’s at – you’ll also receive a stack of exclusive in-game goodies (to be detailed later), and have access to a separate stash of BlizzCon merch, in case you want to grab a t-shirt, book, toy or bag.
