Surprise! Bethesda has today announced that Dishonored will be released as a Game of the Year Edition next month. If you’ve not yet picked up the sneaky supernatural experience, this would be a good time to do it – Dishonored: Game of the Year Edition contains not just the full game, but all of the official add-on content that’s been released for it, including Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and Void Walker’s Arsenal.
Pete Hines, VP Marketing and PR at Bethesda Softworks explains:
Dishonored introduced a new world and cast of characters which have really resonated with gamers around the world since its release in October 2012. We’re now excited to offer people the opportunity to have all of this great content in one package.
We can’t believe it’s been nearly a full year since Dishonored hit shelves. The story of revenge-driven Corvo Attano features complex weaponry, unusual gadgets and supernatural abilities, wrapped up with a flexible combat system and the ability to “creatively” eliminate your targets. It’s your call whether you want to run in, all guns blazing, not caring who sees – or if you’d prefer to slink through the shadows, picking off enemies from the cover of darkness.
Dishonored: Game of the Year Edition is headed to North America on October 8th, Australia/New Zealand on October 10th, and throughout Europe on October 11, 2013. You’ll be able to pick this one up on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
