Gearbox also working on two brand new games

Gearbox is keeping busy. It’s got Homeworld stuff happening, more Borderlands 2 DLC, and now we’ve learned the studio is also working on not one, but two games for new-generation consoles – and both of them are brand new IPs.

Big things are afoot

We don’t know anything about the two new games, confirmed today as part of the Gearbox panel at PAX Prime, but if you want to jump into one early, there’s an easy way to secure your place in the beta.

Gearbox Community Day is coming up on Saturday September 14th. Events will be held in the studio’s home town of Dallas, Texas – and you can join in online as well. Standard definition streams will be offered for free, but if you’d rather a high-def experience, Gearbox has you covered.

US$19.99 will get you a high-definition stream of the Community Day festivities, plus a handful of exclusive Borderlands 2 heads and skins, free copies of Homeworld Classic and Homeworld HD and – of course – beta access for one of the two new titles.

Does this sound like you? Sign up on the Gearbox Twitch page, and mark your calendars for September 14th!
