Get friends to play Star Wars: The Old Republic

BioWare wants you to convince your friends to join you in Star Wars: The Old Republic, and it’s offering some nifty bonuses – for both you and anyone you get to sign up.

Put simply, every current subscriber to SW:TOR has their own personal referral link. This link can be scared with friends who have never had a game account, or people who’ve let their subscriptions lapse.

New players get a Quick Travel Pass, 5 minor XP Boosts, and a new Inventory Module.

Returning fans, on the other hand, get seven days of subscription-level access (unlimited access to missions and features all the way up to L50), as well as an Inventory Module, Crew Skill Slot, a couple of bonus Customisation Controls and a Complimentary Character Transfer for the lifetime of the account.

…but that’s them, what about your bonuses? Nothing to laugh at: When your friend becomes a Subscriber within 14 days of signing up, you’ll get 500 Complimentary Cartel Coins. For every month they remain subscribed, you’ll get an extra 100 Cartel Coins in your account, with no extra effort on your part.

There’s also “special in-game rewards” – including a bunch of New Battle Droid pets and the Kurtob Alliance Speeder – so even if you’re not into cold, hard cash, there’s still something to keep you happy.

Sound like something that you’re interested in? Perhaps – the flip side – if you’re interested in playing SW:TOR, ask around and see if any of your friends are playing… it could be a win/win situation for all involved!
