Some more good news for fans of BioShock Infinite – the adventures of Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth are headed somewhere new on August 29th. And no, we’re not talking about the brand new DLC, but something much closer to home. Aspyr has confirmed that BioShock Infinite will hit the Mac platform later this month.
The port comes five months after the game’s arrival on other platforms, but it’s still a pretty swift turnaround for our Apple brothers.
Here’s all the system specs so you can make sure your rig is up to scratch:
- Operating System: 10.8.4 (Mountain Lion)
- CPU Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo (Dual-Core)
- CPU Speed: 2.2GHz
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Hard Disk Space: 30 GB
- Video Card (ATI): Radeon HD 3870
- Video Card (NVidia): Geforce 640M
- Video Memory (VRam): 512 MB
- Peripherals: Macintosh mouse and keyboard
Choose your outlet carefully – BioShock Infinite on Steam will net you both the Mac and PC versions, or you can not bother with Windows and nab both a 20% discount and the Columbia’s Finest DLC pack by purchasing through GameAgent.
In terms of DLC, the Clash in the Clouds expansion is expected to hit Mac at the same time as the rest of the game from August 29th, with Burial at Sea following sometime later.
