When Madden 25 and FIFA 14 launch for new-generation consoles later this year, EA has methods in place to allow save-game and stats transfer from your current-gen console to your shiny Xbox One or PS4. Now, it seems the publisher is chatting to DICE as well, to see if the same can be done for Battlefield 4.
The news was shared via Twitter:
We’ve heard reports that players would like their stats and progression to transfer from current to next-gen in #BF4. We’re investigating.
Battlefield 4 is due to launch on current-generation platforms – PS3, Xbox 360 and PC – from October 29th (October 31st in Australia). The game will also pop up on PS4 and Xbox One during their launch – we’re still waiting to find out if that means Day One or just something very close to it.
This gives EA a little time to figure out what it’s going to do, so we’ll make sure we keep you posted.
