Ken Levine has cryptically announcing that he is “excited for tomorrow” (that is, July 29th in the US). While Levine and Irrational Games have their fingers in many, many pies and many gaming projects, the rumour-mill quickly set its sights on just one possibility. Could this mean more DLC for BioShock Infinite?
Levine himself isn’t shedding any light on the topic, posting just three words on the topic:
Excited for tomorrow.
The time is right for a BioShock Infinite announcement: Fans have been waiting eagerly for a new campaign expansion for the game, with new information pencilled in for “late July”.
Irrational Games have confirmed three DLC packs for BioShock Infinite – and so far, we’ve seen none of them. When the new content finally gets here, we’re promised additional gameplay, new stories, new abilities, new weapons and new characters.
Intriguingly, we’ve also heard hints that one of the new characters the DLC will add is actually a new AI companion for the game, joining (or perhaps replacing) Elizabeth.
Whatever the outcome, we’ll find out more tomorrow, whether it’s BioShock Infinite or not. Just one more sleep!
