Inspiration for the Warcraft movie?

Blizzard is, predictably, happy that things are being talked about:

We are excited about the Warcraft movie, which begins production in 2014, and we look forward to sharing more in the future.

Of course, we’re still not able to talk about much. The film – simply titled Warcraft – will feature a mix of live-action and computer-generated effects, but we haven’t actually seen what it’ll look like. Blizzard elaborates that the video was “made to represent the look and feel of the Warcraft movie in broad strokes” – and at this stage, there are no plans to release the tone video as shown at Comic-Con, so we’ll just have to imagine it.

Here’s a tease: The video featured a human warrior and an angry orc, standing in Hellfire Peninsula. Duncan Jones says he is “excited” to enter the world of Azeroth – suggesting he’ll do it respectfully, not that there’s any pressure…
