Blizzard is looking for its most talented fans to take the stage in the first ever BlizzCon Talent Contest. If you can play the Diablo theme on a 12-string guitar, sing Lament of the Highborn or perhaps believe you are the living embodiment of Sarah Kerrigan, perhaps you should take a look at this.
Blizzard gamers are an incredibly talented bunch, and this is your opportunity to shine a spotlight on your skills and celebrate Blizzard gaming culture along with BlizzCon attendees and viewers from around the world.

Blizzard will then choose its favourite acts, and the Grand Finalists will be flown to BlizzCon 2013 in Los Angeles (yes, the competition is open to non-US entrants!) and put up in a swanky hotel so they can perform at the event.
There’s more than $12,000 in prize money available on top of all that – and Finalist Acts will be awarded US$500 for their entry, which may be shown on the big screen at BlizzCon!
What sort of thing is Blizzard looking for? Anything you’ve got!
- Drama! Re-enact a scene or monologue from a Blizzard game
- Comedy! Make us laugh Blizzard-inspired stand-up or sketch comedy
- Music! Perform an instrumental or vocal cover of a Blizzard song, or write and perform your own original composition
- Dance! Come up with an original dance routines set to Blizzard music or original Blizzard-themed compositions
…but the contest is not limited by those four ideas. “Don’t be afraid to show us your best,” says Blizzard – there are no pre-existing categories!
Instead finalists will be selected based on talent, live performance (remember, you could be performing on stage!), humor, entertainment, originality, creativity, and strong Blizzard theming.
Good luck – see you in the limelight!
