Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.
Zombies! More zombies! Everybody loves the undead, as is made clear – yet again – in this week’s charts. At least these are zombies on a tropical island, where the scenery is kinda pretty…
Meanwhile, looking a bit further down the list, we have Kerbal Space Program still denying the odds and coming in at #5. Even further down, at #10, there’s a seemingly new title – Infestation: Survivor Stories. Yes, that’s more zombies. What’s more interesting though – this is not a new game, just a re-titled version of an old one. Remember The War Z? The devs have tidied up some of the more problematic areas of the game (including the controversially-similar-to-other-things title) and relaunched. Is this one worth a second chance?
#1 – Dead Island Riptide
They thought they had escaped Banoi, but can’t wake up from this nightmare. Thrown back into the midst of the Zombie outbreak, the fight for survival continues!
Dead Island Riptide takes players to the island of Palanai on the Banoi archipelago, infested with bloodthirsty Zombies and only a few remaining Survivors still fighting for their lives. Introducing new terrifying enemies, deadly weapons, a new playable character and much more, Dead Island Riptide will draw players back into a world that has grown corrupt – with the last rays of hope vanishing in rising tides.
