Crysis 3 visits Lost Island in new multiplayer DLC

It’s time to grab your nanosuit again: EA and Crytek are delving back into the world of Crysis 3 with a brand new multiplayer DLC pack: The Lost Island. This time, you’re not headed to the New York City Liberty Dome – instead, the new maps and modes are set in an all-new location, the West Pacific.

Cevat Yerli, CEO of Crytek explains:

The gameplay in the Crysis series has always been deeply connected to the unique environments in which the action takes place. By transporting players out of the Liberty Dome and into the Lost Island setting, we’re not only returning to Crysis’ spiritual roots, but also introducing fresh ways to play that provide Crysis 3 fans with genuinely game-changing new tactical options, game modes and weapons.

A mysterious alien presence has been detected on a small island in the Philippines. It’s your job – as one of the Rebel forces – to head out, 200 miles from Ling Shan, and destroy the extraterrestrial entity before CELL is able to obtain it.

Grab your passports and jump right in: Four new breath-taking maps are joined with a handful of deadly weapons and two new multiplayer modes – Possession and Frenzy.

The best bit? You won’t be waiting too long: Crysis 3: The Lost Island is available from June 5th for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
