Ubisoft is making a big call: E3 2013 will be one of the “most significant” gaming event in years – and to celebrate, the publisher’s showing off a very impressive lineup. We’re looking forward to seeing some next-generation games, fresh updates to popular franchises, and – of course – plenty of new brands and titles.
That will set the stage for the demonstrations held at Ubisoft‘s booth inside the expo itself. We’re promised “a number of highly anticipated games”, including Watch_Dogs, Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell Blacklist, South Park: The Stick of Truth and – of course – Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. (Our money’s also on a handful of freshly-announced titles being on show, too.)
Yves Guillemot, co-founder and CEO, Ubisoft explains:
This is a pivotal moment for the video game industry, and E3 is the opportunity for us to share our vision for the future. We have many incredible games in development, and we’re especially excited to share more on our next-gen titles, which will deliver more connected, immersive and interactive experiences to our fans.

Ubisoft number crunchers have done the sums, declaring that next-gen consoles could double the install base of the Xbox 360 and PS3 (over a comparable period). The industry is transitioning to a new stage, and Ubisoft will be right at the forefront, with cross-studio collaborations meaning the creative teams can get an early start on the competition.
