Disney Infinity still ranks pretty highly on the list of games we’re looking forward to seeing at E3, and this new trailer isn’t making the wait any easier. Toy Box racing is a feature included in the sandboxy Toy Box mode, where you can build up your own tracks, make your own rulse, and then race against your mates.
The more you play, the more you get to play with, as toys, characters, buildings, set pieces and other things are unlocked through both the Disney Infinity playsets (Monsters U, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Incredibles and Cars at launch) as well as through experimentation in the Toy Box.
We were lucky enough to check out an early version of Disney Infinity for Player Attack TV earlier in the year. Since then, we’ve been itching to get our hands (back) on the real-world toys and their virtual counterparts, and anxiously waiting to see which new franchise is announced next.
Disney Infinity is due out on August 18th for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, with other platforms not ruled out in the future.
