…and speaking of cheeky, Activision has prepared a trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Instead of showing us the actual trailer (which is, from all accounts, finished and ready to be shown off), the publisher took the video to certain Australian sports, music and TV personalities and showed us their reactions.
As we all know, the Call of Duty franchise is enjoyed by people all over the world, including Aussie-born Hollywood heavyweight Sam Worthington, NBA star Kobe Bryant and TV comedian Jimmy Kimmel. Now, it seems we can add the Australian Wallabies captain James Horwill, Gold Coast Suns fullback Karmichael Hunt, hip-hop artist Seth Sentry and comedian Merrick Watts to that list.
Whether or not you think it’s fair that these lucky chaps (all of them blokes, in case you missed it) were able to check out gameplay footage before the rest of us, it seems that’s just the way the cookie crumbles: Some people are just better than we are.
You and I will have to wait until 10am PST (What’s that in my timezone?) to get a glimpse of the game, when it’s shown off as part of the Xbox New Generation Revealed event alongside the brand new gaming console from Microsoft.
