Bidding has closed on the latest auction for the remnants of publisher THQ, with 17 final bids anticipated to generate more than US$6 million. Proceeds from selling these assets will be used to repay creditors, who will recover somewhere between 20 and 52%, analysts report.
Previous auctions saw new buyers for Relic, Volition, Metro, Homefront and South Park. This still left a whole bunch of content on the table – including rights to franchises including MX vs ATV, Red Faction and Darksiders.
We’ll keep an eye on proceedings and keep you posted as successful bids are announced.
