Gearbox’s Borderlands 2 has received a new patch, adding a new play mode, a bunch of fixes and increased storage space, plus increasing the maximum amount of Eridium from 99 to 500. In addition, a new piece of DLC has been added, enabling your Vault Hunter to hit level 61 and nab some new weapons and relics.
The Ultimate Vault Hunter Pack (free with Season Pass, or $4.99 USD/400 Microsoft Points) adds 11 new levels and 11 new skillpoints, plus “Ancient” E-Tech relics and Pearlescent-grade weapons, which you can grab in the new Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode.
The new mode, Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, is unlocked once a character’s main story is completed in True Vault Hunter Mode and reached level 50. Enemies scale to level, enemy health is increased and they now have health regen, plus a bunch of other cool changes.
Don’t forget that a new character, Krieg the Psycho, will arrive in May, and the fourth campaign addon will hit by the end of June, so keep your eyes peeled.
