Steam Weekly Top Sellers: March 17th, 2013

Logo-Steam Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.

This week’s #1 is kind of a double-barrelled affair. We’re not questioning that BioShock Infinite isn’t popular enough to do this by itself (goodness knows, it’s pretty amazing), but Steam is running a special offer. If “enough” people pre-order the game, a whole bunch of nifty bonuses will unlock. At this stage, you’re already in line to receive a free copy of the original BioShock and a whole bunch of Team Fortress 2 items. If more of you jump onto this particular bandwagon, a copy of XCom: Enemy Unknown is waiting in the wings.

…and in case you’ve already got the extra games, don’t worry – both are completely giftable via Steam.

#1 - BioShock Infinite

Forced to trust one another, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond during their daring escape. Together, they learn to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities, as they fight on zeppelins in the clouds, along high-speed Sky-Lines, and down in the streets of Columbia, all while surviving the threats of the air-city and uncovering its dark secret.”
