New app puts Pokémon in your pocket

If you want a Pokémon fix on the run, The Pokémon Company has come to your aid, releasing – wait for it – a Pokémon TV app for smart phones (iOS and Android), which lets you access more than 700 episodes from the Pok&eaute;mon anime, seasons 1 through 15.

Of course, you can’t just jump in and binge on the whole lot at once (even though that would be a perfectly acceptable way to spend your time). Instead, the Pokémon TV app will rotate 50 episodes weekly for your viewing pleasure.

There are no strings, no contracts, no “logging in or signing up for anything”, and did we mention, the whole lot is completely free? The app won’t cost you anything, the episodes won’t cost you anything, and the only thing that may incur a fee is through your smartphone’s standard data charges (so if you’re accessing the content via WiFi, chances are that’s completely free as well!).

…oh, and if you’re into Pokémon movies, you’re in luck: Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem vs. The Sword of Justice will be available from Feb 15-18, with Meloetta’s Moonlight Serenade starting February 15th to boot.

Catching ’em all’s never been so easy.
