Skyrim DLC set to arrive on PS3 in February

PS3 gamers, listen up: The Dragonborn is headed your way, with a whole bunch of Skyrim DLC set to arrive on your platform of choice – finally – in February. Expect Dragonborn first, then Hearthfire, then Dawnguard… and if you act fast, you’ll get a 50% discount during launch week.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is also getting the v1.8 update just before the Dragonborn content hits, so you can be all up to date and ready to enjoy your new content.

We’re not quite sure why PS3 gamers are getting everything quite so backward – Dragonborn is actually the most recently-released DLC update, which hit Xbox 360 in December (it’s coming to PC on February 5th, by the way). Hearthfire was released in September, and Dawnguard in June, but we guess there’s no problems in playing through things in reverse.

No update on pricing for PlayStation Network at this stage, or on precise dates, but rest assured, Bethesda and Sony are working closely on this one, bringing the game to “various languages”. Keep an eye out, here be Dragons!
