From the game’s Facebook page:
While we received an incredible amount of positive feedback, the Closed Beta tests also identified several key areas of the game which need polish and improvement.
As a result, we have decided to postpone the Open Beta phase of testing until further notice. We will let you know as soon as we have an update. Those players who made an End of Nations purchase should expect to receive a follow-up email shortly. Thank you in advance for your continued input and support. It is greatly appreciated.
It’s a frustrating delay, but not one that seems to surprise gamers. Trion Worlds has been awfully quiet on the subject recently, with fans growing increasingly frustrated over the lack of communication.
There’s still several unknown factors, however: Trion hasn’t mentioned anything about dates for any releases, whether that’s closed beta, open beta, or retail release. The End of Nations alpha has been taken offline, and fans are reporting that Testing forums have been closed. Also, all Collector’s and Founder’s Edition purchases are in the process of being refunded, making many gamers more than a little concerned over the future of End of Nations.
