If you’ve been looking forward to the PlayStation 3 version of Hatsune Miku Project Diva f, you’ll have to make a slight change to your wishlist. While the PlayStation Vita version of the game uses a lowercase, italicised “ƒ”, the home console interpretation hits the caps-lock, styling the name with a capital “F”.
Of course, that’s not the only difference! The PS3 game also gets extra modules and customisation items, six new songs, and according to Gematsu, it’s all fully compatible with the Vita version’s edit and system data.
The latest edition of Famitsu also touches briefly on plans to add new gameplay modes, but doesn’t divulge any details. On the flip-side, the Scratch system and AR functionalities will be (understandably) dropped for the PS3.
There are still no official plans to bring either version of Sony did show the game off at this year’s E3 under the simple name Hatsune Miku in order to gauge public interest, suggesting that a localised release may be in the works.
Thanks for the tip, Brenna!
