The cast of Scribblenauts Unlimited has just expanded, with the introduction of some very familiar Nintendo bonus content. With just the right words, you’ll be able to summon dozens of characters and items from both the beloved Legend of Zelda and Mario franchises – exclusively in the Wii U version of the game. (Of course!)
The silhouette has been lifted and we can now see who’s lining up with Maxwell – and I don’t think anyone’s disappointed.
Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment tells us that the Nintendo characters will behave “in the fun and fantastical ways” they do in their normal game worlds, but this time, they’re helping (or hindering) the rooster-hatted hero in his quest for Starites.
Scribblenauts Unlimited promises to take the write-what-you-want video game franchise to the next level. Featuring a huge, side-scrolling open world, the game is packed with hand-drawn scenery and objects in glorious HD. Help Maxwell (and his friends!) solve some pretty tricky puzzles and challenges.
While the new Nintendo content will – appropriately – only be available on the brand new Wii U console, Scribblenauts Unlimited is also headed to 3DS for a little handheld fun, and to Windows PC if you like things a little more traditional.
