Blizzard is trying something a little bit different when the new World of Warcraft expansion launches next week. Simply put: You won’t need to log out and back in when Mists of Pandaria unlocks – instead, the expansion’s intro quest will pop up “magically” in your quest log, meaning you can start playing the new content immediately.

If everything goes as planned this will be a smooth transition to the adventures that await you in the new continent.
…but just when will that new content go live? We’ve got all the important times for you, so set your alarms. (We are now using a handy automated service to accurately calculate launch times – to find out when something’s happening in your region, just click the link!)
While some retailers may host midnight launches in various spots around the world, Australian and New Zealand gamers get a more civilised option, with the game going on sale at 9am local time no matter where you are in the region. This makes the southern hemisphere gamers among the first in the world to get their hands on Mists of Pandaria, but there’s a catch: The content won’t unlock until midnight in California (Tuesday afternoon/evening – 7pm in New Zealand, 5pm on Australia’s east coast, 4:30pm in Adelaide and Darwin, and 3pm in Perth).
Check with your local retailer to see if they’re organising anything special for the event!
