Steam Weekly Top Sellers: August 19th, 2012

Logo-Steam Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.

With Counter-Strike: Global Offensive hitting the (virtual) shelves a little later this week, it’s unsurprising to see Valve‘s new fps hitting the top spot once again. It’s started a bit of a theme, with Borderlands 2 also popping up, despite the game not being released until next month.

Meanwhile, the rest of the charts are made up of old favourites, new releases, and – of course – “the game you need if you want to play DayZ“.
