We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 40 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by the The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.

The London Olympic Gmes might be playing out a little differently than people had anticipated (with the host nation looking at a record medal haul among other surprises), but the charts – for the most part – are a breath of consistently fresh air. We see the same three games as last week returning to the podium, while the rest of the table reshuffles and readjusts to make room for some new games and old favourites. (Of note: Battlefield 3 is back in the top 10 for the first time in four weeks, joined by Assassin’s Creed: Revelations which enjoyed a 54% increase in sales last week. Meanwhile, Risen 2: Dark Waters makes a splashy debut at #14, soundly beating its predecessor’s performance, the original Risen only managing #29, back in 2009.)
