Store owner's 300yr child porn sentence extended

A game store owner has been found guilty of a number of sex crimes against children, despite already facing nearly 300 years behind bars.

Last year, we brought you the news of Leland Beasley, who had been sentenced to 290 years for producing and possessing child pornography. That sentence was handed down by the U.S. District Court.

Now, 12 months later, Beasley has faced the St. Louis County court, and found guilty of a number of child sex offenses including child molestation, statutory sodomy, attempted statutory sodomy and at least one more count of possessing child pornography. Sentencing for these charges will take place August 24th.

Three days after that, Beasley will face trial for a third time, facing the City of St. Louis court for “similar crimes”.

42 year old Beasley owned and operated a video game store, where he would host overnight LAN tournaments, which proved very popular among young local boys. During these events, he would videotape himself touching the boys, performing lewd acts and sexually abusing them both while they were sleeping and in several cases, while they were awake.

According to local media, the crimes also took place in other locations, involving boys between 9 and 14 years of age, between 2006 and 2009.
