Steam Weekly Top Sellers: July 1st, 2012

Logo-Steam Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.

Nobody’s arguing that ArmA II isn’t a perfectly good game by itself, or that the addition of expansion pack Operation Arrowhead adds a certain flair. I think it would be foolish to believe that this best-seller is doing it all off its own back, however – perhaps it’s capitalising a little off a certain zombie invasion…?

Interesting as well this week is the fact Spec Ops: The Line “only” managed a #10 on debut, held down by a bunch of not-so-new releases. Is it less successful than 2K had anticipated, or is it just selling better on consoles?

#1 - ARMA II: Combined Operations
