Ubisoft Toronto have been hard at work behind the scenes on an all-new Tom Clancy game – Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Set in the now-familiar Iran/Iraq border, Sam Fisher is back, and he’s not pulling any punches.
“Killing in Motion” is something to keep an eye on, when Sam’s skills have been maxed out. There’s also both single-player and co-op multi, and – like most games we’re expecting to see today, Kinect integration’s been introduced – including a “classic Splinter Cell move” of distracting your opponent with a simple “hey, you!”
Ubisoft is still demonstrating the game live on stage here at the Microsoft pre-E3 presentation – expect plenty more about this from both companies over the course of the week. Splinter Cell: Blacklist is due out in “Spring 2013” – believe it when you see it.
