You’ll only have to wait a month before the first bomb drops: The Local Justice Map Pack is due in June – and if you think you might forget by then, pick up the swanky Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass to get all of your upcoming DLC at a special discounted rate.

The Pass itself is available for pre-order via both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network – with more information incomng regarding PC and other options. It’ll set you back 2400 Microsoft Points or US$29.99, and will get you all of the DLC released for the game up until the end of 2012. As soon as it hits the digital store, it’ll be in your account – for a discount of more than 35%.

That’s all well and good, but what’s actually in the promised DLC?
First cab off the rank – the Local Justice Map Pack – promises a new Police Precinct map (used for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer), plus two additional maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer, new challenges and precinct-themed multiplayer avatar items.
