At the same time, we can expect a bunch of new sequels next year – including a new Assassin’s Creed, but XCOM has officially missed its release window and now may now appear until 2013. Kid-friendly MMO LEGO Universe won’t see past 2012, publishers scheduling its closure for January.

Rayman Origins gets a difficult demo, Total Recall gets a video game adaptation, and a favourite family looks set to return to our lounge rooms.
