Saints Row the Third isn’t exactly known for its subtle, tasteful advertising, but this one is impressive even by THQ‘s standards. Titled “Shock and Awesome”, it pokes gentle fun at two of the biggest games of the year. Can you pick which ones they are?
Terrorist insurgents? Been there. Unruly Taliban? Done that. The Third Street Saints? Now that’s a challenge.
In case you missed it, that was elements of both Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3, rebranded with a unique Saints Row styling. It’s amazing how much difference a simple lick of paint and a few different costumes can make!
