Yes. The World of Warcraft developer – who traditionally sticks to its own convention – is making an appearance, of sorts. The company’s SVP of creative development, Chris Metzen, will be featured on a Comic-Con panel on Thursday July 21st, all about products and licensing.
He’ll be joined by Christie Golden, author of WoW novel The Shattering, Cory Jones, president of Cryptozoic Entertainment (who did the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game), and a handful of other Blizzard-related types. It all sounds a little bit awesome – and with a title like “World of Warcraft, Diablo, and StarCraft Swag Show“, you know you’re in for a treat.
