In case you missed it, Epic Games has been very busy. The Unreal Engine is popping up all over the place, Gears of War 3 looks amazing, and the company is enjoying great success with its new UDK for iOS.
We caught up with Vice President Mark Rein just as E3 was starting to wrap up, to chat about the whirlwind the company’s been caught up in for a while now – and to find out if it’s showing any signs of slowing down.
As a bit of an idea of where you can find Epic‘s Unreal Engine (other than Gears of War 3, obviously), it’s the power behind Mortal Kombat, Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, Hunted, Homefront, Silent Hill: Downpour, Alice: Madness Returns, DUST 514, Aliens: Colonial Marines, BioShock Infinite, Mass Effect 3, Fable: The Journey, and – believe it or not – Zumba Fitness.
