Mobile gaming wasn’t forgotten at this year’s E3. Even though most people seemed to be paying attention only to the big consoles, companies like Sony Ericsson were also on-site, showing off their latest wares, biggest titles and coolest games.
We caught up with Dom Neil-Dwyer from Sony Ericsson at a celebration thrown by the hardware company, in recognition of the launch of the Xperia PLAY in the North American market (that’s the “PlayStation Phone” by the way), its continuing success overseas, and – of course – the announcement of more than 20 new games for the handset. Among them is indie darling Minecraft, which is headed to the Xperia PLAY as a timed exclusive in the not-so-distant future.
