If you didn’t get enough of it the first time around, SEGA has just confirmed that “mutant-massacring B-Movie Blood Fest”, House of the Dead: OVERKILL is getting not only a bucketload of capital letters, but also an Extended Cut featuring PlayStation Move compatability.
With the game completely remastered, and with two new scenarios added, this one promises to be big, messy and rather potty-mouthed.
The original House of the Dead: OVERKILL was gloriously gory, but only released for the Wii. Now, it’s lurched into next-gen with a PS3 exclusive revamp. “Will you become Mutant Chowder?”
Gary Knight from SEGA likes what he sees:
“The House of the Dead: OVERKILL – Extended Cut on Playstation 3 will send players to the shrieking mad heart of mutant mayhem. This time we went further, faster and bloodier than before. We extended everything, even the title.”
Promising 3D so real it’ll make you cry, with Move support “so moving” you’ll become a sharp-shooter in no time, House of the Dead: OVERKILL Extended Cut is coming just in time for Halloween, with a launch window starting October 25th.
