Duke Nukem Forever: Get yer PC specs here!

This is getting serious, folks. Not only do we have a (new) release date for Duke Nukem Forever, but now… we have PC specifications from Gearbox Software.

Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel

Balls of Steel edition

While you won’t be able to play the game on the original PC you bought for it 14 years ago, it doesn’t look like you’ll need a super-shiny rig to check this one out. In fact, you’ll be sorted if you have anything more than 1Gb of RAM and a mid-range video card. (Of course, the more impressive your set up, the more impressive the Duke will be – and doesn’t he deserve an upgrade on your old machine?)

(AMD optimizer required only for specific AMD processors to run the game correctly, but installs for all of them.)

…in case you missed it, Duke Nukem Forever was meant to launch today! May 3rd was the original U.S. release date, before it was pushed back for some final tweaks. So, while you don’t have the game, at least you have the specs. It’s kinda the same, right?
