Two SEGA soundtracks take Total War to iTunes

SEGA have just published not one but two awesome soundtracks onto iTunes, so if you want to relive the audio experience of either Total War: SHOGUN 2 or Napoleon: Total War, plug in your iPod and get downloadin’!

Jeff Van Dyke, Composer and Audio Director at Creative Assembly has previously created BAFTA-Award winning soundtracks for the series, and he’s quite pleased with the tunes produced for SHOGUN 2:

“Creating the Total War: SHOGUN 2 soundtrack was an amazing experience. The feel of the era, alongside working with talented musicians like Taikoz who performed the Japanese Taiko drums, and learning the subtleties of traditional Japanese instruments was truly inspiring.”

Napoleon: Total War was actually nominated for an Ivor Novello award, with the classically-inspired pieces creating a “truly stirring” collection of in-game music.

SEGA recommend these soundtracks as the perfect background music for your kendo practice, or the next time you go sailing the world’s oceans in an 18th century galleon. Global dominance never sounded so good!
