Japanese developer Grasshopper Manufacture has announced that it is dipping into iOS development. Suda 51 and his team are working on a charity-focussed app called Frog Minutes, to be officially announced on March 30th at the Grasstream 2 event to be held in Shinjuku.
Following the recent events in Japan, Grasshopper Manufacture will be donating all ticket sales from the event to the Red Cross. (If you can’t make it there, the event will be streamed in both [surl=http://www.ustream.tv/channel/grasstream-2-travis-vs-garcia]English[/surl] and [surl=http://www.ustream.tv/channel/grasstream2-travis-vs-garcia]Japanese[/surl], maybe make a donation while you’re watching?)
But back to the game. We don’t really know anything about it beyond its logo (dug up by [surl=http://www.famitsu.com/news/201103/26041630.html]Famitsu[/surl]) – but we won’t have to wait long. Frog Minutes will land in the App Store on March 30th, shortly after the launch in Shinjuku, and – again – all proceeds from your purchase will go straight to the Japanese Red Cross, to support victims of the earthquake and tsunami.
