The 2011 Formula One World Championship kicked off in Melbourne over the weekend, and local Aussie dev Firemint got properly into the spirit. The developer has formally announced that the next major update for Real Racing 2 HD will include full-screen 1080p output on iPad 2!
Looking pretty darn amazing, the game runs at 30 frames per second, and we have confirmed that yes – this is 1080p, and not 720p upscaled.
The dream of relaxing on your couch, iPad 2 as your steering wheel in hand and playing Real Racing 2 HD on your big screen is almost here!
The first iOS game to support the feature, Real Racing 2 is cementing its place as the perfect title to show off the “true power and awesome capabilities of iPad 2”. Enjoy!
