Help quake/tsunami victims with Chip In: Japan!

A fundraising effort that caught my eye today was Chip In: Japan! – a massive chiptune compilation that’s been put together by a bunch of artists who want to do something to help the victims of the recent disasters that hit Japan.

Chip In: Japan!

...geddit?

Amid all the chaos I thought the only thing I could do to help was to put together a complation of chip music help raise donations and awareness for the people of Japan in their difficult time. If it wasn’t for the hard working people of Japan there would be none of this great chip tune music in the first place.

Donate your money (or “do something positive for Japan”), and you’ll soon be able to download this amazing album. Already, more than 90 tracks have been added, from a pretty impressive artist lineup.

The money is being donated to the Red Cross, via First Giving, which removes all other middleman hassles and ensures that all donations go directly where they are supposed to.

Head over to the Chip In: Japan website, make your donation, and get ready for some awesome tunes. Then, if you feel like it, go and support the artist who have generously donated their time, effort and musical talents to this project.
