The developers at Arrowhead Studios admit that they’re probably the only people in the world who wondered what it would have been like if wizards and magic were involved in the bloody battlefields of Vietnam. Their thoughts are now our (virtual) reality, with the announcement of Magicka: Vietnam.
It’s officially the first expansion for the definitive “blow-up-your-friend” simulator, and will be available “soon” on all major digital distribution channels.
Magicka: Vietnam delivers over-the-top action as players take on the role of four meek and physically inept wizards as they try to do what so many 80’s action stars have done in the past: blow stuff up.
Sure, the Vietnamese conflict is one that we’ve visited countless times before, but this is an exceptionally unique interpretation. In case you needed further proof that Arrowhead Studios and publishers Paradox Interactive are deadly serious about the game, it’s not just a cool video. You can actually play a demo version of Magicka: Vietnam right now, via Steam.
Didn’t see that one coming, did you?
