AU Killzone 3 Event – last hours to enter!

Listen up, Australian Killzone fans – you’re needed. PlayStation are looking for the ultimate ISA soldier, and they’ve enlisted ex-Australian Special Forces Soldier – The Commando – to help.

Specifically, they’re looking for the most experienced gamers who are up for a bit of competition, taking on the evil Helghast army (and the world of Helghan) in Killzone 3, and they’ll be running a special, exclusive ISA Recruitment Drive from 19:00 on Tuesday February 22nd. It’s invite-only, of course – but if you want to get in, we know how you can snag a ticket or two.

Killzone 3

Have you got what it takes?

It all looks set to be pretty intense – the evening will be held in a “central Sydney location”, complete with stereoscopic gaming setups (with PS Move Sharp Shooter enabled) playable amongst Killzone 3-themed rooms.

…one thing I’m a little concerned about is the “range of activities designed to simulate the ‘true’ KillzoneKillzone experience involved, y’know, dying… os is that just me?

One lucky winner on the night will even walk away with a Killzone 3 Helghast Edition pack for their efforts.

Don’t worry about the geographical location, recruits. PlayStation will be providing transport from Sydney’s Central station for everyone attending, and if you’re not in Sydney, they’ll get you there, too.

…but how do you get chosen? Simple. You need to believe
(You also need to tell Sony in 25 words or less why you are the ULTIMATE Killzone fan.)

Send in your entry to competitions@au.playstation.com, and don’t forget to put your PSN ID as the subject line! (Here’s all the terms and conditions, you must be over 18 to enter.)

Oh, and PlayStation know that a picture’s worth a thousand words, so they’ve added one optional extra: Throw in a photo / video (one that you’re happy to be shared with the PlayStation Community), and that might just help your chances. We’re told that “All entries will be judged on creativity and effort applied.”

Better hurry up though, there’s only a few hours left to enter – the competition closes February 16th at 11am Sydney time!
