TIME Magazine has just announced their 2011 list of 50 Best iPhone Apps, including nine great games that really should be on your iDevice.
For fans of the platform, the list doesn’t really hold any surprises – but that’s not a bad thing, right? Just shows that you’ve already been playing the best of the best!
Here’s the list, in full:
Plants v. Zombies
Cut the Rope
It’s great to see the Australian-developed Fruit Ninja sneaking in there (congratulations, Halfbrick!), and that they’re not alone in terms of indie representation. Of course, there’s the big names in there too, EA and PopCap (they’re a “big name” now, right?), but they’re swamped by smaller, more independent releases – yay!
Most of these games are $0.99 or just a shade more expensive – so if you haven’t tried them out yet, what are you waiting for? You’ve got a weekend coming up and nothing better to do…
