Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars took the handheld world by storm when it launched for the DS back in March last year, and again when it was rebooted for the PSP in October. The invasion of the portable platform wasn’t finished though, and the beginning of 2010 saw the game make its way to the iPhone, in two versions. Now, 18 months after it was first launched, we hear that it’s arrived on the iPad, revamped as Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD.
This time around, Rockstar promise to combine the best gameplay elements of the GTA series with all of the intuitive touch-screen controls you’d expect on today’s technology. The game features more than 50 missions (and the inevitable side activities), as you follow the tale of Huang Lee, navigating the criminal underground of Liberty City.
…and as you’re obviously a technological connoisseur who knows what you like, GTA: Chinatown Wars HD also boasts Independence FM, so you can customise the game’s soundtrack using songs from your own iTunes library.
